Just days after the broadcast of the final episode of season 2, ITV announced it was cancelling the show and there would be no third season. A network spokesman said that despite the show's success, "the ITV commissioning team continues to refresh the channel's drama portfolio, hence the decision not to commission a further new season." It has been the most thrilling experience of my career being involved in this wonderful series. And although I am sad that there will not be a third series on ITV, I would like to think that the show will live on in people’s memories as a great example of period drama.
What does the future hold forHome Firesseason 3 following tonight’s season 2 finale on PBS? While we can tell you that the show is canceled, nothing is forever in the world of television these days. We’ve seen shows get canceled and then find homes elsewhere, and there are also other mediums to continue to tell stories. I was really very upset when I heard that this program was cancelled. We love it in the USA, it had very high ratings here. The story lines and the acting have been fantastic.

Fans gathered to protest the cancellation, and a Change.org petition to bring the show back was signed by over 50,000 viewers, but the campaign was ultimately unsuccessful. The fan’s reaction to-date has led Home Fires executive producer Francis Hopkinson to begin looking in to options to keep the period drama alive. While we wait for Season 2 to air on PBS Masterpiece in the US, the second series has concluded in the UK, and apparently with a major cliffhanger of an ending. When the Light hires a dangerous intergalactic assassin, the only question is who the intended target could be. You don’t sell your audience short and then expect loyalty from them for another project.
I looked forward to it every week right after Call the Midwife. The last season was certainly rather contentious and gave much to comment on social networks such as Instagram or Facebook. Now that its audience has proliferated thanks to that reason, the third season will address the same topics.
Forager recognizes that they are being tested, so he, Halo and Geo-Force respond to the attack. It turns out to be Nightwing, who used rubber bullets in the attack, and tells Halo and Forager they did well in their response but that Geo-Force failed. Superboy, Forager and Geo-Force arrive in the Super-Cycle and find Tigress and Halo waiting for them for training. Helga Jace and Jefferson Pierce have also arrived and pleasantries are exchanged. Helga apologizes to Brion and he recognizes that she's not to blame.
It vividly illustrates how the “Greatest Generation”banded together for the good of their country and communities. The bravery and commitment of the British public during WWII was so heroic and inspirational that the history of that period must be preserved for future generations in every way possible. Please please please bring back series three of home fires like me and I know all of my friends are desperate to know how it ends.
Shiva observes that is what the Light considered their "nuclear option," but because of the consequences, the Light has vowed not to use that option lightly. Ocean-Master dismisses her, complaining about spending six years in an Atlantean prison and says he will not be denied his revenge. Shiva says the Light assumed that would be the case, then kills Ocean Master and clears the house of evidence. The heroes engage in battle but have difficulty taking him down. Nightwing tells Halo to fly Forager away, but Lobo fires a weapon that impales her, though she is able to heal herself. When Nightwing demands to know who sent Lobo, he refuses to tell.
